Belimo specialty ball valves offer high close-off capabilities to meet a variety of demanding application requirements. The VS, VSS, L, and VB series ball valves are available with non-spring return, spring return, or electronic fail-safe actuators offering high close-off capabilities. The industrial ball valve series is a great solution for low- and medium-pressure steam applications to 35 psi inlet pressure and applications that operate with a media temperature to 380º F. Belimo industrial ball valves feature two-way and three-way configurations operated by rotary actuators. The actuators are controlled by a standard voltage for on/off, modulating, or floating-point control which moves the valve to the position dictated by the control system. The series is ANSI VI rated to prevent energy loss, which reduces operating costs. The VB series are ANSI Class 150 and 300 rated with 300 carbon steel bodies that are ideal for high pressure steam applications.
Characterized Control Valves
The characterized control valve combines the high close-off capabilities of a ball valve with a characterized disc that ensures a true equal-percentage ﬂow characteristic to achieve superior light-load flow control. It combines the high close-off capabilities of a ball valve with a specialized disc that ensures an equal-percentage flow characteristic. Belimo CCV series includes HTCCV and the six-way characterized control valves, all which feature the innovative ball design and are operated by a rotary actuator. The actuators are controlled by a standard voltage for on/off, modulating, or floating-point control, which moves the ball valve to the position dictated by the control system. The valve is bubble-tight, preventing energy losses and helping to reduce operating costs. The CCV offers a comprehensive Cv range for various applications, such as air handlers, heating and cooling coils, fan coil units, unit ventilators, and VAV reheat coils.
ZoneTight Zone Valves
Belimo’s ZoneTight zone valve is designed for maximum efficiency in tight spaces and sets new performance standards for both pressure-dependent and pressure-independent zoning applications. The QCV and PIQCV provide 95% less power consumption than conventional zone valves and easily connect to the actuator. This allows operators and technicians to install valves quickly, easily, and without the use of tools, helping to simplify commissioning and reduces labor costs. Unlike short-stroke globe valves, the zone valve self-cleaning ball helps minimize energy losses caused by clogging and eliminates overflow from pump pressure seat lift. Also, high close-off capabilities ensure shut-off (0% A – AB leakage) and allow for true equal-percentage flow characteristics.
Pressure- Independent Control Valves
Belimo pressure-independent valve technology maximizes energy savings of variable flow pumping systems while addressing unique control challenges. Belimo offers a series of pressure-independent (PI) control valves–from the PIQCV, a super compact PI valve and the ePIV, an electronic PI valve offering true flow measurement to the energy valve, that optimizes, documents, and proves water coil performance. With Belimo’s pressure-independent control-valve technology, only a single valve is required to maintain proper flow through each circuit. Each valve arrives from the factory preset for each circuit and can be changed in the field, so there is no additional balancing required. The system performs perfectly from start-up. Pressure-independent valves are used to regulate flow through air handlers, heating and cooling coils, fan coil units, unit ventilators, and VAV reheat coils.
The energy valve is a pressure-independent valve that measures and manages coil energy by using an embedded ultrasonic flow meter, along with supply and return water-temperature sensors. The energy valve also has the patented Power Control and Belimo Delta T Manager™ logics built in, which monitors coil performance and optimizes the available energy of the coil by maintaining the Delta T. In addition to the standard analog signal and feedback wiring, it communicates its data to the building management system (BMS) via BACnet MS/TP or BACnet IP as well as Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP/IP. The built-in web server collects up to 13 months of data that can be downloaded to external tools for further optimization.
The globe valve series is available in a full range of sizes with both threaded and flanged end fittings to meet varying application requirements. The globe valve series is available in sizes from ½” to 6”, which fulfill the requirements of ANSI 125 and ANSI 250 applications. Utilizing either bronze or stainless-steel trim and fitted with either spring return, non-spring return, or electronic fail-safe actuators, globe valves are the perfect fit for HVAC equipment, such as air-handling units, terminal equipment, and hydronic systems with primary and secondary loops of water or steam service.
Belimo’s butterfly valve series offers a complete range of resilient seat, grooved, and high-performance butterfly valve assemblies, sizes from 2” to 24”, and variety of actuator control-signal inputs to meet all your needs.
