Magnetic Flow Meters
ABB has an extensive line of both DC and AC magnetic flow meters for all industries and applications. Magnetic flow meters are available in both wafer and flanged styles. Flanged units start at .04″ line sizes up to 96″ line size.
Vortex Meters
The robust design of ABB’s vortex flowmeters provides high performance and reliability in liquid, gas, and steam measurements. Equipped with digital signal processing (DSP) and advanced filtering techniques, these innovative flowmeters from ABB allow excellent flow signal detection and provide measurement immunity from the effects of hydraulic noise and pipeline vibration.
Swirl Meters
ABB offers a unique Swirl Meter that is similar to a vortex meter (counting pressure pulses) but offers several advantages. This meter is available in 1/2″- to 16″-line size. This meter can be used to measure clean gas, liquid, or steam. One key benefit to this unique meter is that it requires much less upstream and downstream piping to achieve accurate measurement.
Coriolis Meters
The ABB Coriolis meter is available from 1/2″-line size to 6″-line size. This meter can be used to measure gas and liquid and will give you up to five outputs via HART, Modbus, or Profibus. Standard tubing is 316 SS with optional Hastelloy tubing.
DP Flowmeters
ABB offers a wide range of differential pressure (DP) flowmeters and primary elements to suit almost all applications. Meter types include compact, integral orifice, averaging pitot tubes, venturi tubes, wedge meters, sub-sea meters, orifice plates and carrier assemblies, flow nozzles, and wet gas meters. All are available with full certification of materials, welding, and non-destructive testing (NDT).
Variable Area Meters
ABB has a long history producing VA meters. These meters are available with glass and metal tubes to meet all of your requirements for VA flow measurement.
